Weatherman predicts rain showers today over Southern Benin, Warri, Yenagoa, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for, Monday, January 22, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy condition is anticipated over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34℃ and 11 – 19℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are probable over parts of the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 30 - 37℃ and 17 – 20℃ respectively, except over Jos where 28℃/10℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy sky is anticipated over the inland states. The coastal cities are likely to experience early morning Mist/fog conditions with prospect of localised rain showers over Southern Benin, Warri, Yenagoa, Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℉ and 20 – 25℃ respectively.
