The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions over the Central states of the county on Sunday.

NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Saturday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 28℃  – 37℃ and 10℃  – 20℃ respectively.

The agency predicted that the Southern states would experience partly cloudy sky over the inland cities while the coastal cities were expected to experience early morning mist/fog conditions.

It also predicted prospect of localised thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures in the range of 32℃  – 37℃ and 20℃  – 25℃ respectively.

According to NiMet, Northern states would experience sunny and hazy conditions throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures in the range of 30℃ – 34℃ and 11℃  – 19℃ respectively.

“The sunny and hazy condition over the Northern and Central states is expected to persist, while the inland states are envisaged to experience partly cloudy sky.

“However, early morning mist/fog is expected over the coastal cities with prospect of localised thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening hours within the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted. (NAN)
