BREAKING: Buhari, Ortom, Benue elders, others in closed-door meeting over Fulani killings

President Muhammadu Buhari has kicked off a closed-door meeting with a delegation of Benue State elders over the killings of Fulani herdsmen in the state.

The Benue delegation is expectedly led by Governor Samuel Ortom.

It was learnt that Governor Ortom; his Deputy, Steve Abonu; former Senate President, David Mark; Senators George Akume and Barnabas Gemade; Tor Tiv, HRM Orchivirigh James Ayatse; and leading members of Benue Council of Chiefs, among others, are in the meeting with the President.

Others include Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari; National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno; Director General of Department of State Services, Lawal Daura; and ministers, among others.
