Today’s weather: Sunny and hazy conditions to prevail, says NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for Tuesday, December 19, 2017:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃ and 14 – 19℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are anticipated in the morning hours, partly cloudy conditions is expected with chances of isolated showers over some cities like Abuja, Makurdi, Lokoja, Minna and Ilorin in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃ and 16 – 22℃ respectively, except over Jos where 30℃/15℃ day and night temperature are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region in the morning hours with chances of isolated thunderstorms over some cities in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 35℃ and 23 – 26℃ respectively.
