UNIAFRICA: Dickson, others to grace first graduation ceremony of foundation school ‎

Bayelsa ‎State Governor, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson, is tomorrow expected to grace the first graduation ceremony for graduates of the School of Foundation Studies, University of Africa (UNIAFRICA) in Toru-Orua.

According to the R‎egistrar, Francis Owusu-Mensah, the event will hold at the Auditorium of the university’s campus in Bulou-Orua by 10 O’clock in the morning.

‎Owusu-Mensah‎ noted that the graduands will form a bulk of fresh students of the university for the 2017/2018 academic session which commences in January, 2018.

Gov. Dickson who is the visitor to the institution is expected as Special Guest of ‎Honour and will lead other dignitaries to‎ the historic occasion.

The National University Commission (NUC) recently gave its nod to the university for the take-off of over 20 of its pre-degree programme after‎ they were accredited and certified okay to run.
