Opposition Senators elect Senator Ojudu spokesman

Nigeria’s opposition Senators have appointed seasoned journalist and activist-turned-politician, Ojudu Babafemi, as their spokesman.

Ojudu, who is the Senator representing Ekiti Central, broke the news this morning, telling his Facebook friends: “Good morning all. From yesterday I have taken on an additional role in the Senate as the spokesperson for opposition Senators. You will therefore get to hear from me more often. Nice day!”

Born on March 27, 1961 at Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State, South-West Nigeria, Senator Ojudu is a chieftain of the country’s leading opposition party, the All progressives Congress (APC).

He is the convener of Ekiti Progressives, the convener of E-11, a Forum of Ekiti Stakeholders and was its two terms Chairman and one of the conveners of the Afenifere Renewal Group (ARG).

Ojudu is married to Omotola and they are blessed with Children.
