Police nabs armed robbers in Customs uniform

Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police, in conjunction with sister security agencies, has arrested six suspected armed robbers in a spot within Udenu Local Government Area of the state.

A statement by Enugu Police spokesman, Ebere Amaraizu stated that the operatives of the Nigeria Police arrested the suspects for their alleged involvement in armed robbery and other related criminal activities in the area and its environs.

He said that the operatives arrested four men with suspected Customs uniform during the raid.

The Police further assured members of the public about the readiness of the command, in conjunction with other sister security agencies in the state and relevant stake holders, to ensure continual safety and security.

Amaraizu said the suspects are "currently helping the operatives in their investigations in relation to their nefarious activities. Also nabbed are four suspects with suspected Customs uniform.”
