Teenager electrocuted in Enugu while trying to reconnect line

A teenager identified as one Enoch Ede resides at Deeper life Road Agbani in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state has been electrocuted.

The incident was said to have occurred on Monday, September 25, at Agbani, when the deceased  had allegedly gone to reconnect light having been formally disconnected by the officials of the Enugu Electricity Distribution company(EEDC) over an alleged non-payment of their electricity bills.

A statement signed by the state police image maker, DSP Ebere Amaraizu, said body of the deceased has been deposited at Agbani General Hospital.

In a related development, a suspect identified as one Wisdom Kelechi on September 24, 2017 at about 11pm at Ifoh field in Abakpa area of the state allegedly poured petrol on one Junior Onah and set fire on him with an alleged reason that the boy left the barbering shop where he plugged his phone which allegedly resulted in the loss of the said phone.

The suspect was promptly arrested by police operatives and he is helping in the investigations just as the victim was rescued with severe burns and taking to hospital where he is receiving treatment.
