The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (rtd.), has tasked social media reporters to always cross check reports before publication.

The Monarch stated this when the members of Indigenous Correspondent Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) paid him a courtesy visit in his kingdom at Orerokpe.

He expressed his feelings over the report of social media that misinform the society, adding that such misinformation will cause chaos in a peaceful society.

Also, the Monarch condemned the existence of cultism in Nigeria, saying it is a big problem in Nigeria, adding that some top personalities in Nigeria are involved.

“It was only seen in the higher institutions of learning years back, but today it has escalated to primary schools, it is a very big problem and it has made the society unsaved,” the Monarch said.
