Keshi benches Uzoenyi as Eagles battle Zimbabwe for CHAN bronze

Super Eagles talisman Ejike Uzoenyi is not in Nigeria’s staring line-up as Coach Stephen Keshi prefers to hand the role to Abubakar Ibrahim in the third-place match against Zimbabwe on-going at the Cape Town Stadium.

In all, Keshi has made five changes to the team that lost to Ghana in Wednesday's semi-final. Left back Benjamin Francis returns from injury, while upfront, Barnabas Imenger replaces Ifeanyi Edeh, while Christian Pyagbara and Chinonso Obiozor earn first starts..
