The National Assoproceeded on an indefinite strike on Monday morning. This is contrary to reports over the weekend that the strike had been suspended following overtures by the Federal Government.

The decision to embark on the strike was taken during NARD’s National Executive Council meeting which lasted from 7 pm yesterday until the early hours of this morning.

The doctors have vowed to sustain the industrial action until all their demands are met by the Federal Government.
