The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, has assured Nigerians of the military’s determination to combat all security challenges confronting the nation, especially in the north east where the Boko Haram terrorist group has renewed suicide bombings.
General Buratai made this known at the 59th passing out parade of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria in Kaduna State, where he pledged that the Army would do everything possible to ensure that no part of the country is taken over by the terrorist group and other criminal elements.
Represented by the General Officer Commanding 1 division, Kaduna, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, the Army Chief said that in collaboration with other security agencies, the Force is doing everything possible to tame the insurgency of the Boko Haram sect.
While congratulating the graduands for the successful completion of their initial training at the institution, General Buratai encouraged them, noting that a lot is expected from them in terms of loyalty, discipline and selfless service. (Channels TV)
