Cameroon sacks 500 Nigerians over levy

 About 500 Nigerians living in parts of Bakassi ceded to the Republic of Cameroon have been sacked by that country’s authorities for not paying N70,000 levy each, according to a breaking news by The Guardian.

The paper quoted sources as saying that the 500 persons made their way into Ikang, in the Nigerian territory, in the early hours of today, Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Details were not immediately available.
