Bauchi Governor seeks medical treatment in Saudi Arabia

Bauchi State Governor, Alhaji Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, has left Nigeria for Saudi Arabia on a medical trip, the State Government announced on Tuesday.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Bello Shehu Illelah, said: “His Excellency, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar Esq, Governor of Bauchi State, will undertake a medical trip to Saudi Arabia from Tuesday 13th June, 2017 to Friday 30th June, 2017. During his absence, His Excellency, Nuhu Gidado Deputy Governor will act as the Governor.”

The statement did not disclose the nature of the Governor’s sickness.
