Eminent lawyer and Igbo leader, Chief Goddy Uwazuruike, has called for urgent action to be taken against northern youth leaders who during a press conference on Tuesday at Arewa House, Kaduna, gave Igbos living in the North October 1, 2017 as deadline to quit.
Uwazuruike, immediate past President of Aka Ikenga, the Igbo think tank, described the ultimatum as “rubbish”.
He told News Express: “God has given everyone wisdom but it appears the sponsors of this satanic group can only use theirs negatively. We call on those who have the instruments of government to realise that the constitution of this country states unequivocally in section 14 that the primary function of government is the security and welfare of the citizens. This threat to Ndigbo calls for urgent action.”
