33 Brigade gets new Commander

A new Commander has been appointed for the 33 Brigade, Shadawanka Military Cantonment Bauchi. He is Brigadier General Timothy Olowomeye. His assumption of duty was announced on Monday via a statement issued by Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Major Joseph Adekunle Afolasade.

Olowomeye took over from Brigadier General Abraham Dusu, who has been redeployed to the Nigerian Army School of Artillery Kachia, Kaduna State.

He is a very seasoned Senior Military Officer who has held various Command and Staff appointments. He was Deputy Director, Army Transformation and Innovation Centre, Abuja. He is a fellow of the National Defece College, Abuja. Until his appointment, he was the Deputy Commandant Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Kachia, Kaduna State.

He assumed Command of the Bridge following a routine handing and taking over ceremony held at Bridge Headquarters in Shadawanka Military Cantonment, Bauchi earlier today 29 May, 2017.
