OGD throws weight behind Jaw Jaw Africa

Immediate Past Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Justus Daniel, has reiterated his unflinching support for Jaw Jaw Africa.

The former Governor stressed this on Wednesday evening in Abeokuta, while meeting with the organisers led by the Initiator, Victor Eniola Mark, and Coded Media’s Youth Ambassador, Merci Peters.

He Said: “My word is my bond. I will give the winner of Jaw Jaw Africa a scholarship as well as give whoever qualifies at the State Level the gift you have suggested.”

Otunba Daniel equally said that he would be physically present at the Ogun State Finals of Jaw Jaw Africa slated for Friday, April 28, 2017.

News Express reports that that the Ogun State Government, The Tonto Dikeh Foundation, Paseda Legacy Foundation, Believe Foundation, Background Checks International, Farmer's Daughter, Nigerian Union of Journalists, National Association of Nigerian Students amongst others had earlier vowed support for and partnership with the project.

A total of 14 tertiary institutions are expected to participate at the Ogun State Finals/National Qualifiers while 11 veterans and personalities of great stature make up the Jury (Panel of Judges) for the Competition.
