Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan last night gave an indication that he has yet to fully recover from the sickness which made him to miss the opening day of the Honorary International Investors’ Council (HIIC) in London last week Thursday.

Dr. Jonathan was supposed to meet with the seven aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors known as G7, from 9pm last night but called it off on his arrival from London, citing jet lag and health challenges.

Said the President while speaking with State House correspondents on arrival at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, around 7pm: “I don’t think I will be able to hold any meeting. You know, six hours flight is quite a distance and also following from my health challenges, but we will meet.”

He said he believed the meeting would hold within the week and thanked Nigerians for their concern and the love showed him both on his birthday and when news broke of his sickness.
