The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has called on the Department of State Services to release Mr. Cosmos Oto’Obong detained since January 22, 2017 in Port Harcourt over a book he wrote titled Let Them Go and sub titled Journey To Biafra. The book is about the re-emergence of the Biafra struggle.
BNYL leader, Comrade Prince C Obuka stated that Cosmos was missing since January “until information came to us that DSS stormed his house by 1am, jumped through the fence and forced him out.
“Though he has been charged to court, but we want all charges against him withdrawn. He is an activist not a Boko Haram.
“Enough is enough of all this intimidation, they are gradually forcing us into taking laws into our hands and they will see the results of their illegal actions,” Obuka said.
