Principal officers of the New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) summoned to appear before the National Disciplinary Committee of the ruling PDP on November 27 will not do so, News Express can reveal this evening.

PDP National Secretary, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, New PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, Deputy Chairman, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, and the National Vice-Chairman, North West, Ambassador Ibrahim Kazaure, today received the invitation of the committee headed by Second Republic Minister of Transport, Alhaji Umaru Dikko.

They will, however, not honour the invitation, New PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, told News Express this night.

Eze’s words: “We have no Disciplinary Committee as Dikko’s committee is not known to PDP because the National Executive Council in line with the PDP Constitution has not sanctioned the. Any function they are performing on behalf of anybody or group is an exercise in futility.

“Expecting Baraje, Oyinlola, Sam Sam Jaja, Kazuare or any other person to appear before them is to give them the credibility they are yearning for. If they are actually serious, they should start with Tukur and his cohorts over the blunder and grievous ant-party activity they embarked upon during the recent Anambra guber election by selling PDP and supporting APGA.”

Baraje and the others had been suspended last week by PDP National Working Committee (NWC) for alleged anti-party activities but promptly dismissed the action as of no consequence whatsoever.
