The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has restated its commitment to proceed with the struggle for independence “despite threats and incessant arrests.”

Its National Deputy Leader, Comrade Ebuta Ogar Takon, made the pledge in a statement, a copy of which was made available to News Express. He disclosed that the BNYL National Congress earlier scheduled to hold on February 20, 2017 has been shifted to March 22 to enable state chapters hold their meetings.

Comrade Ogar Takon further disclosed that the BNYL is yearning for communal rallies in each LGA and would be embarking on operations within the Bight of Biafra known as ‘Gentle Water Flow’ for campaign and another operation in the inland towns known as ‘Eagle Sight’ “to checkmate killer herdsmen and raise consciousness.”

“These will be peaceful activities, which we hope would be formally endorsed at our National Congress,” said Takon.
