The Federal Capital Territory Administration has proposed to spend the sum of N37,292,122,872 in the 2017 fiscal estimates for its capital and recurrent expenditures.

‎The FCT Permanent Secretary, Babatope Ajakaye, dropped the hint during the 2017 FCT statutory budget-defence interface between the Senate Committee on FCT and the FCT Ministry led by the Minister, Muhammed Bello, at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.

He assures that attention would mostly be given to on-going projects this fiscal year to fast track solid development of the FCT.‎

‎In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on FCT, Senator Dino Malaye, promised that his Committee will engage with the Ministry of Finance in ensuring that appropriation is released to complete the ongoing projects.
