Police in Adamawa State have that at least 15 people were killed when four suicide bombers denoted their explosives in Madagali town in the northern part of Adamawa State.

According to eyewitnesses the incident happened on Friday morning at a crowded motor park on the outskirt of the town.

Meanwhile, 10 others, who sustained serious injuries are at the General Hospital, Michika receiving treatment for their injuries.

This attack is coming barely two weeks after the Nigerian Army repelled an attack by fleeing Boko Haram terrorists in Gulak village in the same Madagali Local Government Area.

The Nigerian Army in 2016 dislodged the militants of their entire strongholds, arresting thousands of its members.

However a number of the militants are still at large including the leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau who has disputed claims of their defeat by the Nigerian Army. (TV360 Nigeria)
