Igbo think tank Aka Ikenga has condemned without equivocation the dismissal, last week, of the charges of murder of an Igbo trader, Madam Bridget Agbahime, in Kano on the advice of that state’s Director of Public Prosecution (DPP).

In a statement issued on Saturday in Lagos, Aka Ikenga President, Chief Goddy Uwazurike, said: “The accused persons, no doubt, have acted their own part in the heinous murder of the 74-year-old woman. The DPP has also played his own part in this macabre conspiracy.

“The murder of Madam Bridget was led by her neighbours who mobilised other murderers for hire and they brazenly killed her. Aka Ikenga demands that the Federal Government should step in now and ensure that justice is done.”
