While Amaechi was accused of attempting to bribe the judge handling the Akwa Ibom State governorship election appeal to twist the case in favour of the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in the state, Umana Okon Umana, Onu was alleged to have also attempted to influence that of Ebonyi State, also in favour of the APC. Based on the allegations, the plaintiff filed the suit with number FHC/ABJ/ CS/857/2016 through its counsel, Mr. Okere Kingdom, yesterday. In addition to the originating summons, the plaintiff filed an ex parte motion seeking leave to properly commence the legal action as stipulated in the rules.
