Today's weather: NiMET forecasts dust haze in the North, rains in the South-East and cloudy conditions elsewhere

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Friday, October 28, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze conditions with horizontal visibility ranging from 2 to 5km is expected over the northern region both in the morning and afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 33 – 37°C.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over this entire region during the morning hours with chances of having sunny and hazy skies later in the day. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 28 – 34°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised rains are anticipated over the south east coast while cloudy conditions will likely prevail over the other parts of the southern States during the morning hours. Later in the day, localised thunderstorms are expected to prevail over this region during the afternoon/evening hours. Maximum temperatures for the day are expected to be in the range of 33 – 34°C.
