Less than a month after grabbing Alex Song from Arsenal, La Liga giants Barcelona are planning a return trip to the Emirates, this time to ask for the signatures of three more star players.

A story this morning in the British tabloid Daily Star says the Gunners “fear that Barcelona could return to poach one of their stars for the THIRD summer in a row.”

Barca seem to have fallen in love with players from Arsenal, having successfully lured Cesc Fabregas to the Nou Camp last year, and Alex Song late last month.

Quoting reports from, Daily Star says that Barca “Sporting Director Andoni Zubizarreta’s recruitment list includes three more Gunners,” adding:

“Abou Diaby, Jack Wilshere and Thomas Vermaelen were all tracked by Barca over the summer, before they opted for Alex Song.

“The La Liga side decided not to bid for the trio this year, as they were all returning from long-term injuries.

“But Barca retain an interest in all three stars, with Arsenal bracing themselves for another summer of upheaval in 12 months time.”
