The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Usani, has assured the people of Cross River State of active representation in projecting their plight in order to receive prompt response.

The minister gave the assurance while leading delegation to a courtesy call on the governor, Mr Ben Ayade, at the Government House in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

According to Usani, government has approved and signed off major road projects across the state, which had over the years subjected the masses to untold hardship while plying it.

He sued for patience on the part of the citizenry, promising that “massive work will begin in earnest.”

Governor Ayade represented by his deputy, Evara Esu, used the opportunity to welcome the minister home and urged him to ensure that all promises made concerning development in the state are matched with actions. (Channels TV)
