The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Saturday, September 10, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Morning thunderstorms are expected over the North while localised thunderstorm will prevail during the afternoon/evening hours across the region. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31 – 35°C.

CENTRAL STATES: There are chances of thunderstorms over the region in the morning hours with localised thunderstorms are most likely over Jos, Bauchi, Lafia, Ibi and Makurdi axis during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30 – 34°C.

SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of rains over the southeast region with likely chances of rain showers over the southwest in the morning hours. There are chances of isolated thunderstorms over the inland cities, while the coastal cities should experience localised rains during the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 30 – 33°C.
