Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Monday, August 22, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Gombe and Bauchi during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon/evening hours Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 31 - 32oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with likelihood of localised rains over Mambila Plateau, Jalingo, Bida and Gwagwalada during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms/rains over Abuja, Minna, Makurdi, Lokoja and Ilorin during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29 - 30oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Calabar, Eket, Ogoja, Port Harcourt and Obudu have chances of rains during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms/rains over the region during the afternoon/evening period. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 28-29oC.
