Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about Nigerian weather condition for today, Saturday, August 6, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of localised thunderstorms over Maiduguri, Nguru, Potiskum and Gombe during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 32 - 33oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with likelihood of localised thunderstorms/rains over Abuja, Bida, Jalingo and Yola during the morning hours. There are prospects of localised thunderstorms over the high ground areas and Ilorin axis during the afternoon/evening hours. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 29 - 30oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: There are prospects of localised rains/drizzles over the region during the forecast period. The region, especially the Southwestern part will experienced cold weather conditions. Day time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 27-29oC.
