Nigerian pop star Patoranking reportedly arrested in Uganda

There are speculations making the rounds that Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie popular as Patoranking, was arrested at Entebbe International Airport, Uganda.

According to the report, the Alubarika singer, was arrested on Tuesday, August 2, for failing to adhere to check in rules.

Patoranking, who only dropped his debut album entitled ‘God Above Everything’ a day before failed to adhere to check-in rules and above all he had not secured his entry visa, we were informed.

“He was just told to remove his cap for security check-up but he chose not to listen to instructions. He was denied entry and arrested for disobeying lawful check in orders”, said a source who further added that Patoranking believed he was too ‘big’ and would be treated like a superstar on arrival.

He was detained for over 7 hours, but later released and granted visa after apologising.
