The Federal Government on Saturday promised to ensure the right of every Nigerian to worship and practice his or her faith in the country.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Babachir Lawal, said this during the funeral service for Deaconess Mojisola Olawale who was murdered while evangelising in Kubwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He also promised that the federal government will ensure that the perpetrators of the heinous crime face justice.

Born on the July 23, she was buried on her birthday 42 years later, Deaconess Mojisola Olawale is considered by many here as a hero, a Christian who died at her post.
