5 feared dead, scores injured as truck rams into mosque

Five people were killed and scores injured when a truck rammed into a mosque at Ode Omu, a town situated in Ayedaade Local Government Area of Osun State, a report from the area said.

The report, by Saturday Tribune, said the incident took place on Friday. It quoted an eyewitness as saying that the driver lost control of the truck and crushed scores of people as it rammed into the mosque, killing five people.

“Others survivors who sustained injuries are being attended to,” the report said.
