Midnight fire consumes property worth trillions of naira at Sabon-Gari Market Kano

Fire has gutted the famous Sabon-Gari Market in Kano state just few months after the market recorded a major fire outbreak where property worth trillions of naira were destroyed, a report from the area said.
The fire started from France road’s section of the market where furniture and other household items are sold, according to a Daily Trust report.
The report said: “The fire started in the night and could not be put under control as at the time of filing in this report.
“Security personnel comprising police, army, civil defence and vigilante were deployed to the market.
“Fire service officials and traders could be seen battling with the fire this morning when this reporter visited the scene of the incident around 6am.”
