The House of Representatives is accusing Hyundai Heavy Industry Limited of violating Nigerian Oil and Gas Content Development Act.
The lawmakers are also asking for the investigation of the company.
At plenary on Friday, the House Committee on Local Content called for an in depth audit into the activities and finances of Hyundai Heavy Industry Limited.
The Chairman of the Committee, Emmanuel Ekon, told the House that there were incidences of violation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Content Development Act.
After looking at the findings of the committee and the Nigerian Immigration Service, the lawmakers said they had discovered that some of the expatriates in the company had expired visas.
The committee then mandated the Minister of Interior and the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service to deport some of the officials of the company.
The Nigerian Immigration Service is to conclude its investigation and report back to the committee in three weeks. (*Channels TV)
