President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated 47 persons to be appointed Nigeria’s ambassadors to various countries around the world.

He has also forwarded the list of nominees to the Senate for confirmation.

Senate President Bukola Saraki made the announcement during Senate plenary on Thursday.

He, however, did not disclose the names of the nominees.

The Buhari administration ad recalled the country’s ambassadors shortly after it came to power on May 29 last year and had since failed to replace them.
