The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, May 29, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy and cloudy condition is likely over the region, while Bauchi, Gombe, and part of Borno and its environs may likely witness some thunderstorms in the morning hour. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 32 -40oC.
CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospect of localised thunderstorms around Jos, Nassarawa, Benue and part of Abuja and its environs in the morning. Evening thunderstorm is likely over the high grounds of the central states. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 29 -34oC.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated over this region with prospect of thunderstorms/rain showers over Lagos, Ogun, Ibadan, Calabar, Eket, and Ikom in the morning hours. Some cities within this region may likely experience evening thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures forecast are expected to be in the range of 31-33oC.
