Pipeline attacks: Osinbajo, Service Chiefs, Gov Dickson, Kachikwu, others hold crucial meeting inside Aso Rock

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo yesterday evening met with some stakeholders on the current attacks on pipelines in the Niger Delta.

The Vice President initially met with some security chiefs including those from Navy and Army and the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, and some other officials of government.

He also met separately with Bayelsa State Governor, Mr. Henry Dickson; and the Amayanabo of Toun Brass, Bayelsa State, King Alfred Diete-Spiff.

The Vice President also met with representatives of some oil companies in company with Dickson and Diete-Spiff.

Firms such as Shell, Total, AGIP, NLNG and Chevron among others were represented.

Dickson and Diete-Spiff joined the meeting of with the oil chiefs which was still ongoing as of 8.30pm.
