NiMET predicts sunshine and clouds today, with chances of isolated thunderstorms

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, May 5, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: It is anticipated that the North will be sunny in the morning and partly cloudy in the afternoon although Nguru is expected to remain sunny during the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 25-30oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Abuja, Jos, Lafia, Makurdi, and Kaduna in the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19-27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: This region is expected to be cloudy in the morning with chances of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-26oC.
