Chief Operating Officer and Group Executive Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engineer Anibor Kragha, on Thursday said the company will release 3 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) tomorrow in Kaduna State.

The COO disclosed this to newsmen during his official plant assessment tour of Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company (KRPC).

He said: “We are not happy with the hardship Nigerians are facing due to fuel scarcity.

“I”m here to see how the refinery is working and we are happy to tell you that as things are right now we are going to release 3 million liters of PMS by Friday.

“We are concerned for what is happening in the country, we want to apologise to Nigerians on what they are facing.”

It could be recalled that on Tuesday KRPC, Managing Director Idi Muktar, said measures have been put in place to ensure constant supply of the product to help reduce the hardship Nigerians are facing.

The Managing Director, who disclosed this while receiving leadership of the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), assured citizens that all hands are on deck to ensure constant supply of PMS in the state.

“We also hope Nigerians will continue praying for it to be sustained,” he said.
