NiMET predicts sunny and hot conditions in the North today, cloudy weather elsewhere

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, April 26, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hot conditions are expected to prevail over the North throughout the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over this region. Buildup of rainclouds may be observed in a few areas but they are not expected to give rain. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 18-28oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: The region is expected to be under cloudy conditions. Prospects of localised thunderstorms are anticipated in the evening hours though this prospect is higher over the Southeast coast. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-25oC.
