The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, April 24, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny condition is expected over Sokoto, Kano, Gusau and Katsina in the morning and afternoon, while northeast axis is expected to be sunny and hazy condition. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 18-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy morning is expected. Chances of localised thunderstorms over some parts of the central states including Abuja, Lafia and Lokoja axis during afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-28oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudiness is anticipated over the southern cities in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are likely over the southeast coast during the afternoon/evening hours especially over places like Port-Harcourt, Calabar, Warri and Eket. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20- 27oC.
