NiMET predicts cloudy weather today, spiced with sunshine and localised thundery showers

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, April 21, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy condition will prevail over Kano, Nguru, Gombe, Gusau and Zaria axis while elsewhere is expected to be sunny. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy morning is expected across the region. There are slim chances of isolated thunderstorms over the high ground areas of the aforementioned region during the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: The region will be Cloudy during the morning hours. Localised thundery showers are not unlikely in few places over the inland cities such as Akure, Oshogbo, Enugu and Owerri, including the coastal areas especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and Yenagoa in the afternoon/evening hours, Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-25oC.
