HAPPENING NOW: Trailer pursuing armed robbers rams into school building in Lagos

A trailer whose driver went in pursuit of armed robbers has rammed into a private nursery/primary school building in Lagos.

The incident happened in the Orusumbare area of Idimu.

An eyewitness told News Express: “The trailer was in pursuit of armed robbers when it rammed into a school building. The break failed and the driver lost control.”

The incident happened after school hours, so no school children were affected.

News Express learnt that there was no casualty but that an okada rider and his passenger sustained injuries.”

It was not immediately clear who was robbed and the fate of the trailer driver.
