NiMET predicts sunny weather today along with clouds and thunderstorms

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, April 7, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and partly cloudy conditions are expected over Maiduguri, Sokoto, Yelwa, Gombe, and Yola. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy weather conditions are likely over this region in the morning hours, while early morning thunderstorms are expected over, Abuja, lafia, Makurdi, Ilorin and southern Kaduna and Jos. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22 -27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Localised thunderstorms are anticipated over the coastal and inland cities in the morning hours, but later in the day Port Harcourt, Lagos, Ibadan, Enugu, Akure, Awka, Yenagoa, Calabar, Eket and Warri will likely experience thunderstorms. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
