Sunny and hazy conditions today, along with clouds and thunderstorms: NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, March 30, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions in good visibility are expected over Kano, Sokoto, Katsina and Yola. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected over the region. Abuja, Lokoja, Bida, Lafia, Makurdi, Ilorin and Kaduna will experience localised thunderstorms in the late afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23 -26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are expected over this region with the prospect of isolated thunderstorms over Eket, Warri, Benin and Lagos in the mid-morning hours. Scattered thunderstorms will likely affect many cities in this region in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
