Buhari gives condition to sign 2016 Budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that he would not accent to the 2016 Budget which was last week passed by the National Assembly, News Express has learnt.

An authoritative source close to The Presidency disclosed that Buhari is insisting that he will not sign the budget as it was not accompanied with the breakdown as required by law.

“The President says the budget still needs to be subjected to thorough review before it is being accented to, as the National Assembly did a shoddy job on the budget,” the source said.
