The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Monday, March 28, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cities around the North such as Maiduguri, Kano, Sokoto, Katsina and Gombe will have moderate dust haze which may keep their visibility within 2-5km. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy to partly cloudy conditions are expected during the morning hours while localised thunderstorms are not unlikely over few areas such as Abuja, Lokoja, Makurdi and Lafia during evening/night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 24 -27oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is anticipated with prospects of Localised thundery showers in few places over the southern region like Akure, Oshogbo, and Enugu including coastal areas like Port Harcourt, Calabar, Lagos, Eket and environs in the evening/night hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-26oC.
