The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, March 22, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: There are prospects of morning thundery showers over Yelwa axis, which is likely to affect Sokoto, Gusau, Zaria, Kano and Katsina boundaries. Partly cloudy conditions are likely over Damaturu, Maiduguri, Nguru and Dutse areas. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27oC.

CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are anticipated with prospects of thunderstorm over the entire region in the morning hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 17-24oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected with prospects of thunderstorms in the morning hours. Localised thundery showers are likely later in the evening over the South east coast. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-25oC.
